THE POSITION
As a Client Development Specialist, you will serve as a trusted style advisor and relationship builder, responsible for delivering a luxury experience that reflects the Orlebar Brown lifestyle. Blending exceptional service, personal styling, and strategic clienteling, you’ll cultivate long-term relationships with high-value clients and proactively grow your book through networking, outreach, and tailored experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-first environment and is excited to elevate our top client strategy in partnership with store leadership.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT & SALES EXCELLENCE
- Deliver exceptional one-on-one service and build authentic relationships that drive loyalty and long-term spend.
- Work by appointment and on the sales floor, providing styling and wardrobing for travel, lifestyle, and occasion dressing.
- Proactively grow your personal client book through outreach, referrals, and local networking.
- Support client reactivation, follow-up, and after-sales care with consistency and detail.
- Meet and exceed personal sales goals and key KPIs.
STRATEGIC CLIENT DEVELOPMENT
- Leverage CRM data and insights to identify opportunities and increase spend from existing and lapsed clients.
- Collaborate with the Store Director and HQ teams to plan and execute targeted delighting moments, gifting, and outreach campaigns.
- Actively participate in local events and cultivate community relationships (hotels, stylists, social clubs, etc.) to expand client reach.
- Partner with HQ and store leadership on key activations such as in-store events, private client appointments, and elevated clienteling moments.
BRAND REPRESENTATION
- Be a visible brand ambassador in your market, embodying Orlebar Brown’s values of effortless style, adventure, and modern luxury.
- Champion the in-store experience, supporting the team with product storytelling, visual standards, and service moments.
- Represent the brand at client events and networking functions as needed.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3–5+ years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or styling.
- Proven success managing a personal client book and driving repeat business.
- Deep understanding of luxury service standards and relationship-based selling.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and organized with strong follow-through.
- Passionate about travel, lifestyle, and creating exceptional experiences.
- Comfortable using CRM tools and basic reporting to track client performance.

- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
